Easter Weekend

It was a VERY busy Easter weekend full of block parties, bouncy houses, petting zoos, pony rides, parades, egg decorating and egg hunts! Whew...I'll let the pictures do the talking:)

Stephine has had an amazing year full of triumphs & struggles. To commemorate those moments & in support of Ovarian Cancer awareness, her husband Ryan hosted a party in her honor. Perfectly titled "Tacos & Teal". It was a beautiful evening:) I love this pic...the boys are watching the kids & they're all doing yoga poses:)

23 Weeks!

Pool & Golf...it doesn't get much better than that!

The spring weather made it here just in time for Erin's birthday weekend. We were able to spend some time in the pool at our house & auntie Rachel's house. Skylar also got a chance to work on her golf game with her cousin Lilly...I can already see her on the LPGA, look at that set up!

Skylar is growing up so FAST....

Mommy hates to admit it, but my baby girl...well...isn't a baby anymore:(. She's so big and so smart. She's such a big talker all the sudden, she'll repeat anything we say and can even put a few words together, such as "where is it" or "cold out there". And what I love most, she makes up words for her most favorite toys, her bear is "baboo" and her duck's name is "dadush":).

Skylar is learning to feed herself, and it's very messy!

Skylar LOVES the park, she's so independent & always wants to slide down the tallest slide (without mommy or daddy's help) it makes us very nervous!

Skylar loves her tricycle (and her sunglasses:), we mostly push her around, but she knows where her feet go on the pedals, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before we're chasing her down the sidewalk.

Skylar loves to run! She has a ridiculous amount of energy all the time Skylar loves her good friend Chase (who wouldn't in those cool shades). She is also a "daddy's girl", this is a cute pic from the UNLV baseball game we went to last week, her and daddy wore matching outfits.

Baby Girl makes 4!

There has been a lot happening with the Merrill clan the last few months, most importantly is the announcement of our soon to be newest addition to the family, another baby girl for mommy & daddy & a sister for Skylar:). Growing up with 2 sisters of my own was amazing & I am so excited that Skylar will be able to experience that special relationship also. Baby Girl #2 (name undecided) is due August 11th, so I am at the half way point, 5 months along.

Here are a few ultrasound pic's the first is at 14 weeks when we found out we were having a girl. Daddy's response...disbelief "but I was so certain it was a boy!":) His reaction may be due to the fact that (if you're keeping track) that's 0-5 on the Merrill side, all girl grand babies so far!
The second pic is 2 weeks ago at 18 weeks, we think she's very cute!And lastly, a pic of Me and Skylar, although you can't see it, I look much more pregnant than I did with Skylar at 5 months. My goal is to take a pic every month so we can track how big I get & how much bigger Skylar gets too! Oh yeah...and this is a pic in front of our new house, we moved to Henderson too, see we have been busy!
