Steamboat Springs

Steamboat Springs, what a beautiful place.  The kids bunked with their friends and had an amazing time, Skylar got on ski's for the first time and was a "natural", and mom and dad got out for their first ski day in years. Was a perfect little "Snow Holiday"....

& The drive to and from Steamboat was gorgeous.  I couldn't help but to lean my phone over the dash and take these pics.

Week #4- The Nose Crinkle

It's infectious, her whole nose scrunches when she smiles, this little girl loves to be as she calls "Silly, Goofy", I love her, and I can't get enough!  Ms Skylar Zell, we are so lucky to have you to brighten all the moments of each and every day.

Week #3- She Sleeps

My sweet Charleigh,it's go, go, go...she never stops. Naps seem to be fewer these days, but when she does sleep, she's out, and a rather "hard sleeper".  I was able to sneak into her room, without waking her, and take this pic.  I want to remember that sweet face, the books and 10 dolls in her bed.  Because, like a lot of good things, these naps (and daytime break for mommy), won't last long.  Sweet dreams Charleigh...

Week #2-Sledding

When it's cold...we'd prefer there to be snow.  Snow means we can sled, spend time outdoors, and burn lots of energy!  Luckily, we have an awesome hill right out our back door. Skylar is fearless, she never gets cold, and could sled for hours.  Like most things with Charleigh, she was cautious at first and would only go down on "my belly", sans the sled.  Lately though, she's been confident enough to slide down (in the sled) on her own...it's still a bit of a chore for mommy tho, as she can't quite drag the sled up the hill on her own yet.

Week 1- Dress Up

I am constantly inspired by the photography blogs I follow.  So I am borrowing an idea, to take a picture of my children every week the entire year (52 weeks!).   I am not going to set any parameters, as I'm sure just getting through will be a challenge. I can't wait to see the end result and what a fun idea for a book or picture collage...we'll see:)
