Week #6- Wear whatever you want...

It's 10 degrees outside, and Charleigh and I are feeling cabin fever inside while Skylar is at school.  "Wear whatever you want today" I tell her, "swim suit" she says. And we roll around on the carpet and read books, makes for a perfect little Monday:)

Father / Daughter Dance

Daddy took his two little lovely ladies out for dinner and dancing at the Butterfly Kisses Dance this past weekend.  Both girls were so excited to have such a special date with their dad. Looking forward to this being a yearly tradition.

My Rosie Girl

Charleigh's my girly girl, always insisting on wearing dresses and her black mary-janes "tap shoes" as she fondly refers to them.  "Dramatic" would describe her reactions to most things and it makes me laugh several times a day to see her little personality shining through.  As she's growing, some of her frustration is subsiding (which I'm not gonna lie, is a relief). She's also suddenly so independent and it make me sad and glad at the same time.  Spread your wings Rosie, but don't venture to far, Mommy still needs you and your baby snuggles a little longer...

Week #5- More Snow

While the rest of us take shelter inside, Skylar is always happy in the snow on even the coldest days.  When I took these pics last week it was snowing pretty hard and she just had a ball rolling around in the white powder and making fresh tracks in the snow. I LOVED watching her from inside, so fun that she's on her own adventure. Mama is not fond of the snow Skylar, nor of being cold....however, I look at these photos now and I wish I had gotten out there with you, next snow fall Mama promises to roll around too!
