Cousin Lilly Turns 4!

Skylar attended her cousin Lilly's birthday party last weekend, a princess party equipped with a bouncy house & a real princess!! All that entertainment & Skylar's favorite part of the party was playing with the girls' princess dresses...too funny seeing the look on the 4 year olds faces when Skylar grabbed two fists full of their dress & shove it in her mouth:)

I also posted a few more pics from the last week. Even though Skylar's not crawling yet, she's starting to scoot & wants to pull herself up to a stand when ever she can...maybe she'll skip crawling & just start walking;). She's also cutting her top two teeth (thank goodness she'll have a few to join her top side "snaggle" tooth, lol!

To celebrate the beautiful weather, we took take Skylar to the park where she tried out the swings for the first time. She loved it! She was pumping her legs & blowing rasberries. Her cousins Lilly & Trevor came too. What a big girl, Skylar will be 8 months next week!

Another unforgetable birthday celebration with Stephine. What an amazing night out, cocktails, dinner, & a concert...it may have been more fun than the year you turned 21! Happy 30th Steph!

Baby Vacation

While I attended my sales meeting, Skylar spent last week at her great grand-nana's house in San Diego. She was dotted over & so well taken care of by 2 generations of ladies, my mother, my aunt and my nana. While Skylar was enjoying her first baby vacation, Mommy and Daddy missed her terribly!

A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas is an extremely busy time of year for our family. It's not just the holiday season, but it's Birthday Season! We start with Dave's birthday on the 18th, then my nephew Trevor's birthday on the 19th, then my sister Rachel's birthday on the 23rd. We celebrated each with a separate night out Sushi, Cheesecake, & BJ's Pizza...whew....& all before Christmas.

After what felt like an endless birthday celebration it was time for trees, stockings, and men in big red suits! What better way to get us in the mood than a "Santa Hat" themed Christmas party hosted by our friends Natalie, Dave, & Neve Bailey.

We then spent Christmas Eve in Las Vegas with the Borcherts' & headed to Colorado Christmas morning to spend a week with the Merrills. We are so blessed to have such wonderful families and friends to spend time with over the Holidays. Here are a few great pic's...

It was a fantastic holiday with so many memories to share, this blog could go on forever! I guess, best way to sum it up...it was a holiday of firsts & developmental milestones for little Skylar; first vacation, first plane ride, first time visiting relatives...just to name a few.
