Time seems to be flying by faster than usual these days, I can hardly believe Skylar is 11 months old. When things get hectic (like it's been lately) I get so nervous I am going to miss the little things. Like did we laugh together today, did we play together enough, did we get to relax & read a book...I want to make sure I treasure every moment with my little girl. She is growing so fast, it's hard to believe next month we'll be celebrating her first birthday.
A lot has happened the last few weeks, Dave & I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary by renewing our vows at the drive-thru chapel down town. Skylar has been busy also, and she's been keeping her Mommy & Daddy busy too. Skylar is the "fastest crawler in the world!"...or maybe all mom's feel that way when they can't keep up with their 11 month old. I swear I turn my head for 2 seconds & she's off...no idea half the time where she's going...but she'll figure it out when she gets there:) She loves to eat, her favorite food now is spaghetti, she can't shovel it in fast enough! She is babbling a ton..with her favorite words being baba, mama, dada (although she has no idea what she's saying). She has also started to wave! It's quite possibly the cutest thing ever, she waves with her hand facing backwards (palm toward her face) like she needs to watch her hand to make sure she's doing it right...but she does it all the same and we're so proud of her:)
All the while, as we move swiftly through our daily lives, our hearts have been heavy with worry for Stephine, praying that she would come soon home from the hospital. I am happy to report, yesterday our prayers were answered...and she is now home in her own bed where she belongs! Stephine, you are such a fighter & inspiration to us all, we love you:)
