Skylar moves into a "big girl bed"!

I'd be lying if I said we weren't sad, our little Skylar is not a baby anymore. Honestly, I think the transition was harder for mommy & daddy than sky, we had the room all set up, and we were thinking....maybe in a few weeks or months she'd sleep in there! And Skylar said to Daddy before her nap one day "I want to sleep in that big bed"! Skylar loves her new room & loves her new bed!
It was definitely a DIY project. The bed was an old trundle/day bed from Nanas house that we spray painted silver, the bench was also from Nana's and we painted it white, and the dresser Dave found on craigslist for $60 & painted it....and I made the letters above her bed too! We think it turned out quite cute:)
Skylar's favorite past time is bringing a stack of books into her bed & reading. Currently her favorite books are Shaggy Little Pony, Just me and my Cousin, Just the way you are, and Dora Unicornio.
