San Diego with the "Nanas"

The girls and I got an amazing opportunity to spend some quality time with my mom (Nana) and my grandmother (Grand-Nana) in San Diego.  Although I was nervous taking a 5 hour car trip with both girls, the car ride was a breeze thanks to the iPad and a little help from my mom.  What I didn't expect, were the sleepless nights in the hotel room.  Charleigh was cutting teeth, and Skylar thought sleeping in the same bed as mommy was some kind of an up all night party/sleepover!
Our time outside of the hotel room however was wonderful.  It was so nice getting the girls acquainted with their Grand-Nana and Great aunt Sissy.  We spent tons of quality time in the back yard just chatting away while Skylar enjoyed the yard & Charleigh spent time with the Nana's.  We also got to go to the beach in Encinitas with our cousins Marian, Macy, and Ethan. To say that Skylar loves the beach is an understatement!  She LOVES...I mean LOVES the water!  Despite the breezy 65 degree temps, she was in her suit, jumping into the waves and building sandcastles with Ethan.  And what's cooler than a beach!? A beach with a park, you'll see the pics below.....
Such a great trip with four generations of women, and one we will cherish for a lifetime:)
