Skylar Turns 3

And Just like that...she's 3.  I can't believe it, where has the time gone, it's crazy!  I feel like, I'm just going to wake up one morning and my girls will be teenagers, reading this blog post.
There has never been a kid more excited to turn 3 than Skylar.  She can't stop talking about it.  About her her birthday cake, birthday party "coming up" (even though it already passed), she even stops random strangers at the grocery store to show them she is 3 by holding up her fingers (which is pretty hard for a toddler:).
I'd like to make a list of Skylar's "Favorite Things at 3", because I'm forgetful & because always want to remember what she was into at this very moment...
-Ballet-Skylar LOVES Ballet.  She acutally walked around Trader Joes the other day while we were grocery shopping saying (in her most whiny voice, as if I was holding her back) "I just want to be a Prima Ballerina"...where does she come up with this stuff!
-Giggles-If you know Skylar, than you know that high pitched screeching giggle she has, it's infectious, and I love it.
-Swimming- she may have been a fish in another life.  She loves to chase the waves in the ocean, but her favorite is the pool (makes me miss our pool in Las Vegas:)
-Riding Toys- Skylar loves her scooter, bike, trike, anything that she can ride.
-Sports- Skylar loves kicking the ball around with Daddy (especially the pink soccer ball she got from Auntie Ali for her birthday), she is also VERY excited about her new set of golf clubs, and wants to "hit the big one", the driver that is:).
Books- Skylar still loves her books, we have read a few to her so many times that she can recite every word and she "reads" them to us at bedtime.
Skylar is such a joy.  Shes's a talker (like her mama) and she's impatient like her daddy (oh wait..that's like her mother too:). Loving, silly, and strong willed, all rolled into one boisterous little girl. She is my little buddy and I'm so lucky to have her.  We love you Skylar & can't wait to see what adventures you will bring us on this year.
