Charleigh Turns 1!

In a blink of an eye, my littlest love is 1!  After a big celebration for Skylar's 3rd birthday, we decided to keep things low key for Charleigh.  Since they share birthdays, my Mom came into town to celebrate with Charleigh and we had a great weekend:)
At 1 year Charleigh is in "Full Toddler Mode" she is mobile and wants to be on the floor at all times!  She crawls everywhere & is fast!  She has started standing (by herself, look at these pics below!:) and cruising furniture.  She loves to walk while holding mommy's hand, but is a little wobbly to try on her own yet.  Charleigh is a big screamer and babbler, however, she does say "uh-oh", "mama", "dada", "ba", "da" on a regular basis.
My Charleigh is a peanut in comparison to her big sister Sky (who weighed in at over 2lbs larger than her at a year).  At Charleigh's 1 year appointment, she was in the 30th percentile for weight and height at almost 20lbs, 28.5 inches.  Thanks to her Merrill lineage, her head is large (in the 90th percentile) at 47cm.  But don't let Charleigh's small stature fool you, you don't want to mess with her, she is a bruit & often comes up with clumps of her sister's hair when things don't go her way (poor Sky)!
 The most amazingly difficult, rewarding, wonderful job raising my two little ones.  I can't believe I've got two toddling, talking, mobile toddlers now.  What a wonderful life we are blessed with, Happy Birthday Charleigh:)

 And....what a difference a year makes!
