Nana brought sunny and warm weather to Colorado to celebrate Easter with our family this year. We packed all the fun we could handle in just 4 short days. Our adventures included a visit to the farm, Estes Park (which turned out to be a little more snowy and cold than we hoped), hike on horsetooth lake, dinners, lunches, downtown...and even a little mother/daughter painting class. The girls love having their Nana to visit, especially Skylar who asked her every night to sleep on the "trundle" in her room. We are so lucky to have such a special Nana and can't wait to see her again soon.
Easter Day was a treat this year, Skylar and Charleigh were so excited about their baskets and both loved hunting for eggs (especially Sky) However, Charleigh was predictably grumpy when she figured out she couldn't eat every piece of candy she found on the spot...which led to some tears throughout the day. We spent Easter evening with the Merrill's, I only got a few pictures, but the cousins exhausted themselves with countless Easter egg hunts, followed by a Tinkerbell movie.
Love this last one of the little girls watching a show together:)
