Skylar Turns 4!

It's hard to believe our Skylar has turned 4. I have heard it so many times, "enjoy them while they are young, because it all goes by too fast", it's too true. I feel like I'm past the "wonder what the next stage will bring"...and instead am thinking "please stop, please stay little, stay 3 forever".  3 was a good year, although it started a little rocky (no one ever tells you about the "Terrible 3's";) by 3 and a half it was smooth sailing, and I have to say my favorite (easiest) age so far.  Skylar is suddenly agreeable, she aims to please, and is so sweet and loving.  She loves to play, laugh, and is adventurous, not hesitating to try new things (unless it's a green vegetable;).  Sky loves her quiet time and besides reading books, would color 10 pictures a day if I'd let her.  Playing dress up, anything to do with ballet, riding her bike, school, swimming, and (since we moved to Colorado) the snow, are a few of her favorite things.  We love you Skylar, and are excited for all the new adventures 4 will bring!

Side note for the books...At Skylar's 4 year appointment, she weighs in at almost 39lbs and is just over 3ft, 5in.
