Skylar, you may be a big kindergartner now, but you'll always be my baby. My favorite conversation lately is when we talk about the future, school, college, and where you will live when you grow up. Skylar says, "I want to be your mom-friend when I grow up...and live across the street, in the same cul-de-sac (but not in the same house of course), we'll be neighbors and see each other everyday." Skylar I'm gonna hold ya to it!

Skylar's first day of Kindergarten
Tears...(from only Mom) on the first day of Kindergarten. "Are you nervous, I asked Skylar"..."Nope, just really excited" she replied. She waved to Mom, Dad, and Charleigh and went in...and that was it. Charleigh asked about a dozen times that day if it was time to pick up "Sissy-Roo" (she definitely missed her sister). We picked her up after school and Skylar (always a pleaser), gave Mrs. Tripichin, her new teacher, a big hug. Mrs Tripichin said Skylar did great, raised her hand when asking a question and even helped a friend that got hurt on the playground. Fingers crossed, every school-day will be this easy!
